A History of Growth, Built to Handle More
CTS- Concrete Transport Services — was added as our family of companies grew and the need for our own trucking increased. CTS originally hauled cement powder for our sister company, Ellis Brothers Concrete. As the company grew, CTS began hauling more materials and equipment, including sand and aggregates, and eventually delivering gravel from our own mine directly to customers and jobsites.
Over the years, CTS expanded to meet the needs of our companies and customers. What started as a way to support our own operations grew into a full trucking fleet with side dumps (dump trucks), end dumps (known as semis), flatbeds, and boom trucks. Today, CTS hauls aggregates and other materials, transports equipment, provides boom truck services, and handles hauling for both our companies and our customers.
Having CTS as part of the operation means more of the work stays in-house. Material can be produced, loaded, hauled, and delivered without relying on an outside trucking company. One call gets the material and trucking lined up from the mine to the jobsite.
CTS has grown for the same reason it was added in the first place — to have the trucks, equipment, and people in place to better support and serve our customers.
